Whereas previous Overlord titles saw the player controlling the eponymous tyrant, dishing out orders to his Minion hordes, this time the action has a new twist. In Overlord Minions you'll be controlling the Minions directly using the stylus and Touch Screen in an absorbing action puzzle game. You'll lead a crack team of Minion commandos as they track down a sinister band of dragon-enthusiasts known as the Kindred. By controlling each of your Minions in turn, you'll aim to find a path through the fiendishly-designed traps and puzzles waiting to trip your troops up.
With four different varieties of Minion at your disposal, you'll need your wits about you to judge who is best for the task at hand. Brown Minions are your all-round fighters while Blue Minions can navigate through water without drowning; Red Minions are fire-resistant whereas Green Minions are immune to poison gas and can be sent on stealth missions. Select a Minion to control using the stylus and then touch where you want them to go. Flick the stylus on an enemy and your team will descend on them to rough them up. Solving the puzzles will often entail your forces splitting up, each using their own unique strengths for the good of the team.
Combining cartoon graphics with hilarious visual gags and a seriously brain-teasing puzzle game at its core, Overlord Minions will have you laughing out loud even as you're scratching your head. Get ready to take charge of your elite crew of Minions and let the mayhem begin!
