The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

System: Nintendo GameCube Release date: 01/09/2005

Bruce Banner's muscle-bound alter-ego returns in thunderously destructive style. As the Hulk, you're free to explore the vast urban environments as you please, taking in the sights - or smashing them up. Using the green guy's phenomenal strength you can leap huge distances, climb up buildings, or pummel even the sturdiest structures into so much dust.

You can even create makeshift weapons from the environment, using a lamppost as a club, or ripping a car in half and using it as a pair of oversize knuckledusters! Structured missions and side quests mean you can embark on focussed odysseys of rage, or forget all about objectives and just choose to smash the city to concrete puree. Obliterate helicopter gunships, total armoured tanks; Hulk's savage power is beautiful to behold. You can even jump atop a harrier jet in flight and wrestle it to the ground.

But with the government, the cops, powerful, specially developed "Hulkbuster" attack vehicles and even supervillains like the Abomination all queuing up to put our irascible green buddy on ice, even Hulk's power may not be enough! Characters from the comic book and a storyline that's been crafted by Marvel writers and artists make for a thoroughly authentic feel; this is the Hulk at his rawest. Don't get even. Get mad!
