Call of Duty: World at War
Call of Duty: World at War

The epic battles of World War II spill onto the streets – or wherever you take your Nintendo DS. Call of Duty: World at War for Nintendo DS packs an amazing amount of content and gameplay into the handheld and lets you fight on the front lines like never before.

You play as a U.S. Marine or Russian conscript in more than 20 missions in the European and Pacific Theatres. The ruthless and gritty chaos of these battles challenges you to band together with your fellow soldiers to survive the most harrowing and climactic battles from the war. The volatile action will have you on the edge of your seat, whether you’re playing solo or fighting others locally or online via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

With smooth first-person-shooter Touch Screen controls, Call of Duty: World at War drops you right into the heart of the battle, letting you intuitively navigate your way around the battlefield and delivering precision controls. When you’re not on the firing line, you’ll put your technical skills to the test in several scenarios during battle. These scenarios play out like mini-games where you need to use the Touch Screen to perform such actions as transmitting messages in Morse Code, disarming mines, parachuting to safety, treating the wounds of fellow soldiers and providing artillery support.

The multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: World at War features more than 10 maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Hunter/Prey battles. Players can challenge their friends to a multiplayer match at any time, through local wireless or Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Up to four people can fight with or against one another, with access to a wide array of weaponry including fan favourites MP44 and Sten machine guns.

The battle has never been this intense, or this portable.
