First-person boxing action comes to Game Boy Advance, courtesy of THQ - the people who brought you Earthworm Jim, Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure and Iridion 3D.Boxing Fever offers a total of ten boxers, two of which must be unlocked. The action takes place from a first-person view - so, looking directly at your opponent, you must block, duck and throw different kinds of punches to come out on top. The boxers are absolutely gargantuan on the screen - and beautifully animated - which makes them look superb.Despite the wacky cartoon look of the boxers, the actual fighting is surprisingly complicated - there aren't any wild special punches or attacks, but there are a whole load of different punches to choose from. Five difficulty levels provide a challenge for players of all skill levels, and a two-player mode allows you to test your skills against a friend. Try not to block with your face, and come out swinging!
