Despicable Me: MINION MAYHEM

System: Nintendo DS Release date: 01/10/2010

Despicable Me: MINION MAYHEM is a 2D puzzle platform game for the Nintendo DS, brought to life by D3 Publisher and WayForward, based on Universal Pictures' animated movie Despicable Me.

Gru just wants to be the best he can be. Sadly his chosen vocation is 'super villain', so being the best generally means being a massive meanie, acting like a real rotter and regularly pulling off some dastardly heist. Perhaps most importantly though, you can't be a boss baddie without a horde of minions doing your bidding; and controlling those blundering buffoons isn't as easy as it looks.

In Despicable Me: MINION MAYHEM you get to make like Gru and take charge of your very own minions, but don't be fooled by the cheery, upbeat settings: the aim of the game is to guide your funny little fellas to safety through a series of challenging obstacle courses, fraught with danger at every turn.

Using the Touch Screen and stylus you can activate switches, control drawbridges, let loose springs to catapult your little blokes around and much more. The levels will have you dodging traps, sneaking past enemies and using funky gadgets to make sure your loyal fools make it safely to the exit. Who knows - along the way you may even direct them to collect a trophy so they can be crowned Minion of the Month, but only if you are a world-class scheming mastermind. Over dozens of challenging levels you'll get to explore locations from the movie, command your favourite characters and discover secret new minion types.

Chock full of puzzles, missions and challenges guaranteed to get you hooked, Despicable Me: MINION MAYHEM will have you tapping away like a mad scientist in the name of all that is despicable.

  • Controlled using the Touch Screen and stylus for fast, involving puzzle fun.
  • Each level is an obstacle course of myriad minion mincing machinations that you must manoeuvre your men through to safety.
  • Inspired by the animated feature film Despicable Me from Universal Studios.
