Might and Magic Clash of Heroes

System: Nintendo DS Release date: 28/01/2010

In Might and Magic Clash of Heroes, an innovative puzzle-based combat system combines with a vast and engrossing RPG adventure as the classic series finds a new home on Nintendo DS.

Five heroes hailing from the most far-flung regions of Ashan must find their way to each other and meet their destinies head-on. Set in an epic gameworld brimming with necromancers, sorcerers, knights and elves, you must lead the multiple playable characters along their own separate paths as they strive to save the world from Chaos, a demonic force which threatens civilisation itself.

In addition to classic role-playing and exploration elements, the combat system gives you full scope to develop your own strategic approach and combat style as you customise your own offensive and defensive unit formations, put together advanced combos and use spells and artefacts to take out the enemy forces.

Battles unfold across both DS screens, the brain-teasing puzzle dynamic meaning you only have a limited number of turns to defeat your opponent. You’ll have to make every move count as you select the right units, group complementary units together to form the optimum fighting force and bring in reinforcements at just the right moment. In addition to sword-clashing battles, you’ll face boss fights, special challenges and side-quests so the action stays fresh and varied.

While single player mode offers a huge gameworld to explore as the enthralling story unfolds, multiplayer mode lets you take on friends in combat both with Single Card Play and Multi-Card Play via local wireless. Select one of ten heroes, each with their own spells and abilities, and do battle to see who the mightiest warrior is.

Prepare for a legendary adventure, only on Nintendo DS!

  • Epic, richly-rendered gameworld offers many hours of adventuring as you control multiple playable characters.
  • Fans of the series will encounter familiar characters, but the game stands alone, making it perfect for first-time players.
  • Gorgeous artwork inspired by manga-style comic books means that Might and Magic is a feast for the eyes.
  • Multiplayer mode lets you take on friends in battle either via Single Card Play or Multi-Card Play over local wireless connection.
