Important information

Play together with your amiibo and friends in a flourishing board game village in Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, only on Wii U! Use your Animal Crossing amiibo figures* to race around a board-game town in pursuit of happiness, or you can enjoy other attractions with Animal Crossing amiibo cards**. Put your Animal Crossing knowledge to the test, try to escape a desert island with three Animal Crossing characters, and much more!

Animal Crossing Board Game

As you move around the board-game town, try to earn the most Happy Points – may the happiest player win! When each space you land on is home to a new story, there’s no shortage of things your characters can get up to!

Choose an Animal Crossing amiibo figure as your game piece, then tap the amiibo to the Wii U GamePad to roll the dice when it’s your turn. Each space on the board can gift or take away Happy Points and Bells – or both!

Some turns bring special events that you might remember from other Animal Crossing games! Dr Shrunk could show up to deliver some comedy, maybe there’ll be a fishing contest, or it might be somebody’s birthday!

Every time you play, you’ll earn Happy Points that go towards Happy Tickets, which can be used to unlock further attractions or customise your board-game town!

The more you play, the more the board-game town changes! As the seasons roll by, keep checking in to see what’s new. You can add new buildings to the board-game town and open up extra paths using Happy Tickets. With Animal Crossing amiibo cards, you can even invite animals to build their house in the board-game town!

Desert Island Escape

Choose three characters from Animal Crossing amiibo cards and explore islands in search of escape! Track down useful materials and find food, but be careful where you step – you might run into a territorial centipede!
