As fast, furious and stylish as the anime TV series that spawned it, Bleach: Shattered Blade centres on the story of 15 year-old Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends as they battle to collect the fragments of the ancient Sokyoku blade and force open a gate back to their own world.
Featuring frenetic one on one battles, Bleach: Shattered Blade places the power to perform devastating attacks in your hands by letting you use the Wii Remote to slash, swipe and lunge at your opponent as if you were wielding your own Zanpaku-to sword! Moving the Wii Remote horizontally or vertically will trigger a variety of moves, while performing Combos and Critical Attacks by holding down the A Button or B Button as you swing your weapon will fill up your chosen player’s Spiritual Power gauge and enable you to inflict maximum damage by entering an empowered Bankai state. Just make sure you don’t run out of stamina by attacking too fervently!
Your chosen warrior can be maneuvered around the battlefield with the Nunchuk Control Stick, while holding the Z Button will block the onslaughts of your foe. As you progress past the opponents in your path you will earn Kan with which to purchase costumes, sound effects and new characters in the Urahara Shop.
On top of the all-action Versus mode, the Story mode in Bleach: Shattered Blade will see your battles accompanied by an intriguing plot that changes depending on which character you play as. With three starter characters to choose from in Story mode and five more to unlock, you’ll be granted unique insights into the incredible world of Bleach.
