Create

System: Wii Release date: 19/11/2010

Flex your creative muscles in a Wii game that makes your imagination the most important part of the experience.

EA’s Create places a world of possibilities at your fingertips by inviting you to use a near infinite combination of items as you build environments which you can then play around with in all kinds of ways. The more you create, the more items, rewards and challenges you’ll unlock.

At the heart of the Create experience is the freedom the game offers you to build and edit worlds using a huge creative toolkit. The game’s 14 worlds become your blank canvases as you determine everything from the colour of the sky and ground to the weather and the texture of walls. Drop in all sorts of creatures and animated objects to add some extra life to your scene, and then choose the soundtrack you think best fits your created environment. All of the game’s 14 worlds come with a predetermined theme, but each and every element can be overhauled according to your whims – the Wii Remote pointer making the experience simple and intuitive for everyone.

As you pour your creativity out, you will be rewarded with Create Sparks. The more Create Sparks you collect, the more expansive your range of creative tools and items will become. Over time you’ll get your hands on items that can dramatically change the way your world works. Lift items into the air by attaching balloons to them, mess around with metal by dropping a Horseshoe Magnet onto the scene or watch in wonder as you add a Zero-Gravity Generator to your world!

Not only does Create enable you to build, edit and play around with environments to your heart’s content, it also includes a series of challenges that will further test your creativity. New challenges will appear in each of the game’s 14 worlds, and might see you tasked with getting an object from one point to another using any of the items you’ve unlocked so far. As you’d expect, how you complete the challenges is entirely determined by your creativity, and the freedom to return to them at any time means you could earn a higher score for each challenge when you have new items at your disposal.

With handy tutorials helping you get to grips with all the game has to offer, Create is an experience that anyone can enjoy right from the outset. The only requirement is that you bring your imagination along for the ride!

  • Experience a game powered by your imagination as you create unique environments and play with them to your heart’s content.
  • Unlock new worlds, items and challenges as you advance. The game’s challenges can be completed in whatever way you like using the items in your creative toolbox.
  • Edit worlds easily with the Wii Remote. Anyone can enjoy Create thanks to its simple interface and helpful tutorial videos.
