Heatseeker

System: Wii Release date: 30/03/2007

Rule the skies in an explosive new title from the developers of the acclaimed Heroes of the Pacific. Heatseeker combines classic arcade aerial combat action with controls tailored to the unique capabilities of the Wii Remote. The free world needs defending from a tyrannical dictator with a nuclear arsenal and it looks like you’re the man for the job. You’ll play rookie pilot Mike 'Downtown' Hudson and take to the skies in a range of state-of-the art jet fighters to dogfight, barrel roll and bomb your way to victory. You’ll need lightning fast reactions for the split-second decisions you’ll be making at mach speeds.

While flight dynamics are realistic, your weapon supplies certainly aren’t. With unlimited firepower, you’ve got no excuse not to take the fight to the enemy. Use the Wii Remote to evade your foes, target them and take them out. Roll away to shake off the enemy bogey that has locked on to you then return the compliment by sending a missile their way. You’ll hear commands from base and be able to give orders to your wingmen, adding to the realism and tactical depth of the game. So strap yourself in and get ready for all this air-borne action on Wii.

  • Choose from two different control methods: lead your plane with the Wii Remote pointer, or use the Nunchuk like a flight stick
