All your Marvel Super Hero favourites arrive on Wii in their full web-slinging, hammer-swinging glory. Based on the animated TV series, Marvel Super Hero Squad brings the titanic battle between good and evil directly to you as Wolverine, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Dr Doom, Thing, Captain America and many more flex their muscles, dust down their special moves and get ready to do what they do best.
Marvel Super Hero Squad offers both a gripping Adventure Mode, where you can team up with a friend to battle Dr Doom and his villainous Lethal Legion, and a no-holds-barred Battle Mode that lets up to four players unleash everything they’ve got to pummel each other into submission. Adventure Mode sees Super Hero City threatened with destruction – and no prizes for guessing who the last line of defence is. You and a friend can reveal your inner heroes in two-player co-op mode by selecting from Wolverine, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Silver Surfer or Falcon. You’ll then take on the forces of darkness over six giant, action-crammed campaigns while hunting for Infinity Fractals that grant you special powers that can really shake things up.
No one can be good all the time though and Battle Mode gives you plenty of scope to explore your darker side. Take control of Super Villains as well as Super Heroes as you select from over 20 Marvel characters and fight for supremacy using individual special moves and your own customised combos. As if the combat wasn’t relentless enough, the dynamic environment means that interacting with the landscape could yield dramatic results.
Whether you’re fighting for good or evil, the one thing you can be sure about with Marvel Super Hero Squad is that you’ll have a fight on your hands!
- The Wii's motion-sensitive controls allow you to target enemies by pointing before unleashing ranged attacks or throwing objects.
- Enjoy single player or two-player combo action in Adventure Mode or fight up to three other players in Battle Mode.
- Select from over 20 Marvel characters, including both heroes and villains, in the no-holds-barred Battle Mode.
- Your Battle Mode stats will be recorded with the assistance of Mii characters.
