In U-SING Girls Night for Wii, you'll grab a mic, select a song and then croon along with a wealth of hits by famous female artists – preferably with friends and family looking on or joining in to share the moment!
An all-female cast of worldwide superstars provide the soundtrack, with current household names like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry rubbing shoulders with established acts including Blondie and up and coming songstresses in the form of Pixie Lott and La Roux. Thirty full tracks are available with accompanying videos, but if that’s not enough to satisfy your appetite for the spotlight, you can always pay a visit to the new U-Sing Wii Store!
With the U-Sing Wii Store, new tracks with videos can be downloaded from the Internet for 200 to 300 Wii Points each. With regular content planned, a girl’s night in now lasts as long as your voice holds out! Plus, a surprise song can be downloaded free of charge as an added incentive to start expanding your music library.
If you’re feeling up for an extra challenge, Jukebox mode allows you to turn the karaoke bar showing the lyrics on or off at the touch of a button, giving you another way to show off your memory as well as your singing talent in front of a captive audience, without being scored or rated by the game.
The in-game interface is now cleaner and easier to read during those wild, lost in the music moments. Stripped back and refined, Girls Night also introduces ‘Golden Notes’ which if hit correctly will score more points. Even more of a reason to practice those falsetto parts!
Along with the more major changes, the game’s basic functionality has been spruced up, with an expanded preview screen (showing both the song and its accompanying video) as well as a Mic Validation option during loading screens. This allows you to check if your microphones are actually on and ready, meaning that you or your girlfriends will never miss a note again!
