ZELDA NOTES is a game-specific service that is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2 Editions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
You can download the free Nintendo Switch app on your smart device to access ZELDA NOTES.
The current Nintendo Switch Online app will be renamed to the Nintendo Switch App in late May 2025. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required to use ZELDA NOTES.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can use amiibo (sold separately) from The Legend of Zelda series to obtain in-game items once per day. With ZELDA NOTES, when you scan an amiibo five times, you'll get an additional bonus use of that amiibo for a second scan that day.
